Opportunity for a Medical Oncologist with Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown!
Responsibilities
Mercy Health Physicians-Youngstown is seeking a Medical Oncologist in a hospital-based group with three locations in the Greater Youngstown, Ohio region.
Develop and strengthen the cancer treatment team; require outstanding interpersonal skills. Board certification or eligibility required.
Provide services including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and a broad array of oral chemotherapy drugs.
Participate in national cooperative and vendor-sponsored clinical trials through the Oncology program.
Support multidisciplinary site-specific tumor boards and clinics with dedicated nurse navigators covering all cancer diagnoses.
Collaborate with a team that includes two nurse practitioners and ancillary personnel including dietitian and social workers.
Utilize comprehensive survivorship services with support from three dedicated Nurse Navigators.
This is a hospital employment opportunity with no overhead or buy-in requirements.
Compensation and benefits: up to $150,000 sign-on/loan repayment; competitive salary; relocation; CME stipend; retirement plans (403B with employer matching and 457); Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan (100% company funded); group disability coverage; and other benefits.
