Empower Pharmacy . Position Summary: As a Chemist III, you will conduct advanced testing on materials and products, manage inventory, document results, and support method development while ensuring compliance with cGMP and GLP. Responsibilities
Conduct sampling, physical and chemical tests, and assays on raw materials, active pharmaceutical ingredients, in-process, finished, and stability products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, UV-Visible Spectroscopy, Infrared Spectroscopy, Particle Size Analysis, Karl Fischer titration, and Bulk Density, following USP, in-house, or other compendial monographs. Review analytical results and documents as needed. Independently plan and maintain an adequate inventory of test reagents and solutions, ensure supplies are ordered as needed, and manage work planning and testing to meet established timelines while performing complex testing under supervisory direction. Record data and results as specified in documentation procedures. Document work clearly and perform tests accurately while preparing and/or reviewing test procedures, standard operating procedures, protocols, and reports as assigned. Perform critical troubleshooting of test methods as needed for development, validation, routine testing, and stability studies. Comply with all regulatory in-house requirements (e.g., safety, housekeeping, laboratory chemical waste, cGMP, GLP, documentation) when performing the assigned activity and participate in troubleshooting and lead laboratory investigations as needed. Note: The employee may need to talk and hear, remain stationary for portions of the workday, and frequently use hands to operate computers and equipment. The role may require movement around the office and campus, standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping or kneeling as needed. Knowledge and Skills
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively, work independently, and collaborate in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in analytical testing techniques and equipment, experience in compendial testing, USP, regulatory requirements, and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Key Competencies
