$44.00/hr - $75.00/hr The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children. The SLP will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to ensure students achieve their educational goals. No IEP meetings and only yearly report writing per student. Duration: Immediate – 07/2026 Location: Contracts located in the Bronx or Manhattan (whichever is more convenient) Hours: 30-33 hours on average, a few facilities are 40 hours Pay range: $42-75.73 per hour on a local contract Key Responsibilities:
Assessment and Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders. Intervention and Treatment: Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs. Provide direct speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed. Collaboration and Consultation: Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other school personnel to support student communication needs in the classroom. Educate and provide resources to parents and caregivers to support carryover of skills at home. Consult with multidisciplinary teams regarding student progress and classroom accommodations. Documentation and Compliance: Limited documentation! No IEP meetings, only yearly report per student. Ensure timely submission of required paperwork and adherence to district, state, and federal guidelines. Qualifications:
Education and Licensure: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid NY State licensure and registration as a Speech-Language Pathologist. A Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) Certificate. Experience: Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred. CF accepted. Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, and work with students for extended periods. Ability to lift materials and equipment up to 25 lbs. Seniority level
