The Allied Health Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our Radiologic Imaging Technology Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term (as needed).

Job Overview
On a part-time, limited basis, the Adjunct Faculty member's primary academic functions include teaching, discovering, creating, and reporting knowledge to students. This may include creating curricula or teaching from model curricula provided by the department.
Adjunct Faculty responsibilities will include teaching bachelor’s level courses in Radiologic Imaging Technology.
Adjunct faculty members may be expected to (1) use our course management system (Canvas) and any textbook-specific systems; (2) provide students with clinical instruction and supervision; (3) hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner; and (4) participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
Essential Functions
On a part-time basis, teach assigned undergraduate courses.
Maintain knowledge of program mission and goals.
Understand the clinical objectives and clinical evaluation system and evaluate students' clinical competence.
Participate in the assessment process, as appropriate.
Maintain current knowledge of program policies, procedures, and student progress; monitor and enforce program policies and procedures.
Use best practices; continually evaluate student coursework.
Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.
Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.
Other related duties as assigned.
Required Education Associate's or bachelor's degree in Radiography.
Required Trainings/Certifications
Current ARRT certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography
Ohio Radiographer license
American Heart Association CPR
Required Experience
One (1) year experience in supervision, instruction, and evaluation.
Two (2) years of clinical experience in the professional discipline.
Additional Qualifications Considered A Master’s degree in a related field will also be considered.
