What You Will Do
Conduct chemical analyses and tests on process solution samples according to test procedures and solution control schedule.
Evaluate test results against applicable specification criteria.
Perform calculations of analysis results, chemical additions, and data processing for statistical process control.
Prepare samples for external testing and maintain records of external test results.
Prepare laboratory batches of chemical solutions for process use, testing, or inspections.
Monitor solution concentration trends and issue chemical make‑up sheets when concentrations approach process limits.
Maintain all related records of process solution testing in TrueChem.
Prepare laboratory reagents, verify expiration dates, and manage stock of reagents.
Maintain analytical equipment used in the laboratory.
Ensure all analytical equipment is calibrated when required and possesses valid external calibration stickers.
Review and optimize laboratory documents, including equipment manuals, specification documents, SOPs, and training documents.
Implement laboratory documents based on OEM specifications.
Establish the accuracy and reproducibility of testing procedures.
Place PO requests for external testing, chemicals, specimens, and equipment.
Provide shop floor support and resolve quality issues by aiding in root cause (RCCA) and MPC failures.
Support NADCAP, customer, and internal audits.
Promote a safe working environment.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications You Must Have
AA/AS degree or other 2‑year post‑high school training with a minimum of 10 years of similar experience.
Experience performing titrations using manual and automated methods.
Experience preparing technical reports and data analysis.
Experience using chemical analysis tools (e.g., measuring pH, temperature, concentrations).
Experience handling hazardous materials.
Qualifications We Prefer
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience supporting regulatory audits.
Experience in Waste Water Management.
Effective interface with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers.
Proactive problem solving and self‑directed behavior.
