Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) Flexible Schedule Part-Time or Full-Time
Part-Time or Full-Time Opportunities Available (Minimum 2 days/week) Position Summary:
We are actively seeking
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC)
to conduct initial diagnostic assessments and provide ongoing psychotherapy sessions to residents in long-term care and assisted living settings. This role offers significant flexibility and autonomy, while also ensuring strong clinical support and a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations of patients' mental health and psychosocial needs. Deliver individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to each patients diagnosis and treatment goals. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient-centered treatment plans. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with federal and state regulations. Coordinate with administrative support to ensure billing and authorizations are processedallowing you to focus fully on clinical care. Work Setting:
Services are provided in
Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
and
Assisted Living Facilities (ALF) , focusing on improving mental health outcomes for residents in these care environments. Qualifications:
Licensure:
Active LCMHC license Education:
Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling or equivalent Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills Passion for working with geriatric and adult populations in long-term care settings Compensation:
Pay Structure:
Pay-per-encounter model Schedule:
Minimum commitment of 2 days per week Rate:
