Performs radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology; maintains a high degree of technical competency and acts with initiative with minimal supervision. Applies ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis in adult and/or pediatric radiology. Required Licensure/Certification and Education

Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); if not registered, must obtain the registry within 6 months of hire. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA-recognized equivalent) or American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider.
