Job Overview
The Mental Health Associate functions as a care partner with the Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to a diagnostically/developmentally specific patient population; under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the MHA provides therapeutic interventions and treatments. Also, responsible for unit support activities and clerical/administrative functions as directed. Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.e. damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc. Location

Bachelor\'s degree in psychology related field OR 5 years of related experience in a psychiatric services setting BLS Certification through the American Heart Association Valid NJ Driver\'s license Scheduling Requirements
