Pharmacy Assistant job at Providence Health & Services. Portland, OR. This position is part of an "earn while you learn" Pharmacy Technician Training Program. It provides the knowledge to enter an entry level career in pharmacy. You will be provided education materials and the skills to guide you toward becoming a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), in preparation for the national Pharmacy Technician exam (PTCB/ExCPT). The program is designed to help you develop the skills required of a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). The role combines didactic lessons (lectures/e-learning), testing and on-the-job training. At the time of hire you should be able to perform simple math including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing. You will be required to pass the national exam within 6 months of hire.
