School-Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC or SLP-CF)

Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct speech and language assessments for students to identify communication disorders and develop appropriate intervention plans. Intervention & Therapy: Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual or group settings based on their IEP goals. Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language needs. Progress Monitoring: Track and document student progress toward IEP goals, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. IEP Participation: Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing insight on student needs and progress. Consultation & Training: Provide consultation and professional development to staff and parents regarding speech and language issues, strategies, and resources. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all documentation, reports, and billing records are completed in a timely and accurate manner, in compliance with district and state regulations. Qualifications
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited university. Pennsylvania licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or eligibility to obtain licensure. Certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or the ability to obtain certification during employment. Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation, with experience working within the framework of special education. Familiarity with assistive technology for communication (e.g., AAC devices) is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and staff. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple caseloads and priorities. Benefits
