Provides behavioral health services to patients and families with acute or chronic mental health needs. Collaborates within a Team Based Care Model as a core member of a multidisciplinary team, which may include medical providers, social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and community partners. Responsibilities include managing chronic health conditions, providing anticipatory guidance, early trauma intervention, routine behavioral health screening, mental health risk assessment, evidence-based therapy, safety planning, and team consultation. Licensure, Registration, and Certification
Licensed Social Worker, Clinical license issued by Wisconsin, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Licensed Psychologist in Wisconsin. Education
Master’s Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program, with 3,000 hours post-master’s experience, or a PhD/PsyD from an APA-accredited program. Experience
At least 2 years post-licensure experience or supervised experience working with children and families, including diverse backgrounds. Experience in pediatric mental health or medical settings preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Understanding of pediatric development and trauma, ability to assess data, flexibility, and cultural competence. Demonstrates values aligned with Children’s Wisconsin mission. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Potential exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, and infectious materials. Travel between clinics may be required. Preferred Qualifications
Certification in evidence-based therapeutic practices and experience in pediatric mental health or crisis response. Additional Information
