Overview Masters Level Clinician (Full Time) – Community Support Program.

If you are a Master’s Level Clinician looking to be part of a team, we have a position in our Community Support Program. You can help facilitate positive changes in the lives of adults experiencing co-occurring mental health and substance use-related challenges. Masters Level Clinicians work with a multidisciplinary team to assist individuals living in the community to grow, change, and recover by providing individual, couples, family, and group counseling. Masters Level Clinicians also conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, participate in goal-setting/recovery planning activities, and facilitate coping skill development, psychoeducation, and safety planning.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, couples, family, and group counseling to adults in the Community Support Program.

Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.

Participate in goal-setting and recovery planning activities.

Facilitate coping skill development, psychoeducation, and safety planning.

Engage individuals with high-level engagement skills; work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Adhere to ethical and confidentiality guidelines in behavioral health practice.

Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices/evidence-based practices in behavioral health care.

Qualifications

Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.

An active RI provisional or independent mental health license (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or LCDP) is preferred.

Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team; strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Knowledge of relevant ethical and confidentiality guidelines in behavioral health practice.

Preferred experience in community behavioral health services, use of electronic health records, and strong computer skills. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and insurance.
