Overview
Radiology Technologist role at TriHealth. Under the direction of the Radiologist and supervision of the manager or supervisor, performs radiographic procedures to assist in diagnosing disease and injuries. Responsibilities
Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by a physician in accordance with department policies and procedures. Operate a range of imaging modalities including Fluoroscopy, OR, ERCP, Digital Radiography, portable x-ray equipment, and Dexa Scans. Produce quality images with the lowest possible radiation exposure to the patient. Maintain accurate records, ensure radiation safety, support student education and orientation of new employees, and participate in quality assurance and equipment care. Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and interdepartmental team members. Comply with infection prevention procedures and uphold state licensure requirements (ARRT and ODH) and continuing education requirements. Job Requirements
Associate's Degree in Allied Health or graduate from an approved technical, professional, or vocational program. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification. Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) for Healthcare Providers. Radiologic Technologist license (AART state license). Experience with Fluoroscopy, C-arm, OR, ERCPs, Trauma, Digital Radiography, Portable X-ray equipment, and Radiation Safety. Working Conditions
Physical activities including bending, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing and walking frequently, and other described movements. Continuous learning and frequent interaction with patients and staff. Color vision and visual acuity requirements applicable to radiologic procedures. Employment details
