As a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), you may assist with daily routines or episodic daily nursing aide care in a clinically intensive program tailored to meet the needs of a unique population with brain injuries, intellectual and developmental disabilities, or psychiatric conditions and complex health needs. You will work with the people we serve, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform lives.
Responsibilities
Administer medications under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines.
Assist individuals to become more connected with their communities.
Help the program meet high quality standards using rehabilitation values, principles, and techniques.
Provide skills training to help individuals served overcome barriers and live more independently.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Current C.N.A. certificate valid in Massachusetts.
Strong time management and writing skills.
All applicants must be at least 21 years of age and have a current, valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months.
All applicants must become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
All candidates must be able to successfully pass a CORI, reference check, national fingerprinting, CNA certification, and driving record check.
Pay and Employment Type
Pay Range: USD $22.75 per hour.
Employment type: Part-time
Seniority level: Entry level
