Postdoctoral Research Fellow/Associate in MRI Research – Department of Medical Physics Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) invites applications for a postdoctoral research fellow/associate position in quantitative MRI and deep learning within the Cohen lab. The role is based in the Department of Medical Physics at MSK.

Role Overview The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Dr. Ouri Cohen to develop quantitative MRI methods for cancer diagnosis and response assessment. Responsibilities include pulse sequence programming, optimization, and deep‑learning development, and collaboration with radiologists to apply these techniques to clinical cancer cases.

Key Requirements

PhD in Physics, Engineering, or Computer Science.

Background in MRI physics, optimization methods, and deep learning.

Experience with pulse‑sequence programming in GE EPIC is a plus.

Strong programming skills (Python, C/C++, MATLAB).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Salary and Benefits Salary range: $72,000 – $93,730 per year, commensurate with experience and the cost of living in New York City. Subsidized housing near the MSK campus is available.
