Overview The University of Washington Medical Center – Northwest – Radiology – Breast Imaging Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Specialist Mammography & Breast Ultrasound Technologist (100% FTE, Days).
Responsibilities
Perform screening mammography and routine and complex diagnostic imaging, independently and efficiently. This includes advanced or complex exams and breast ultrasound.
Assist radiologists with ultrasound biopsies and mammography and ultrasound-guided localization procedures.
Be certified to perform diagnostic and procedural breast ultrasound imaging.
Explain procedures to patients so they know what to expect at every step.
Support radiology services at UW Medical Center – Northwest, including routine radiology, MRI, CT, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and interventional radiology.
Required Qualifications
Completion of formal technology training in an AMA-approved school with registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
ARRT(R)(M) Mammography certification and ARMDS or ARRT(BS) Breast Ultrasound or equivalent education/experience.
State of Washington Radiologic Technologist certification.
Position Details
FULL-TIME; 100% FTE; 40 hours per week
Day Shift
Wednesday–Saturday, 7:15 a.m. – 5:45 p.m.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay Range: Minimum $46.15 hourly; Maximum $72.24 hourly
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for eligible new employees
