Duties and Responsibilities

The SLP works in collaboration with the special education teacher in the formation of daily schedules, testing schedules, and annual meetings.

The SLP also supplies the special education teacher with current speech/language student lists so they can maintain a master Special Education list.

Provides specially designed instruction developed to meet the unique needs of each child resulting from their disability (resource room, inclusion and/or pullout services).

Qualifications

Master's Degree

North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (NCBOESLPA) license issued by the North Carolina State Board of Education
