Position: Integrated Mental Health Therapist III or Licensed Posting #27350 Wage/Salary: Hourly Rate $32.26 (Mental Health Therapist III) or Annual Salary $73,528.00 (Mental Health Therapist Licensed) Location: Concrete, WA Medical Clinic

Position summary

The Integrated Mental Health Therapist (IMHT) functions as a core member of the Clinical Care Team within a medical setting. The IMHT provides diagnostic assessments, referrals for psychiatric services, and case management in coordination with the care team. The IMHT has an understanding of chronic conditions that can include substance use disorders and behavioral health concerns that contribute to a patient’s ability to address medical needs, and an understanding of chronic medical conditions that can lead to depression and other mental health concerns. The IMHT educates staff on the process for mental health service referrals and on psychoeducational topics (e.g., suicide risk assessment, behavior modification) as directed by Behavioral Health protocols. The IMHT maintains documentation of mental health services and communicates with the clinical care team located in the medical clinic. The IMHT must meet the criteria of a Mental Health Professional (MHP) and hold and maintain an active WA State Agency Affiliated Counselor License (which may be pending for up to 60 days if applied for within 7 days of being offered employment) or a mental health Associate License (e.g., Marriage and Family Therapist, Mental Health Counselor, Clinical Social Worker).

Integrated MH Therapist III – Education and Experience

Must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, counseling, or social work, including coursework in psychological diagnostics Three (3) or more years of experience in the field (experience may be before or after completion of a Master’s degree)
