AJATC is a secure residential program for at‑risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on‑site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area. Pay & Benefits Pay : $25 per hour; can increase with level of education and experience.

Responsibilities The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the AJATC medical team, and provides for the general health care of students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screen, flu vaccines, and the overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders. This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.
Qualifications & Requirements
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Current LPN licensure in the state of Arkansas is required
Be at least 21 years of age
Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Must meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including having a valid Driver's License
Schedule 12‑hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend).
