What You'll Do
Tackle challenges related to material science, production techniques, and environmental sustainability.
Optimize ready-mix concrete and asphalt, from raw material selection to plant performance and logistics.
Analyze project documentation, ensure material compliance, and craft clear submittals for aggregates, asphalt, and concrete.
Collaborate with Quality Control and Environmental Teams to uphold safety, operations, and regulatory standards.
Design and manage plant improvement initiatives to shape tomorrow's best practices.
Engage in surveying, inventory management, and reserve analysis for durable projects.
Participate in inspections to meet environmental, safety, and health standards.
Foster a safe, inclusive work environment with professionalism and collaboration.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution; advanced degrees or additional certifications are a plus.
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) Exam preferred.
Experience or internship in construction materials, mining, or quality control is a bonus, but passion and drive are valued.
Skills & Mindset
Analytical problem-solver with a knack for innovative thinking.
Confident communicator, both in writing and in person, who can convey technical details clearly.
Meticulous and organized, able to manage multiple projects and evolving priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office; quick to learn new technology.
Collaborative spirit with a professional, positive attitude.
Work Expectations
Commitment to regulatory compliance (OSHA/MSHA, Federal, and State laws), personal safety, and environmental stewardship.
Reliable, punctual, and hands-on in office, lab, plant, or on-site settings.
Flexibility to work overtime, nights, weekends, and travel as project demands require.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
Able to lift up to 50 lbs safely, work at heights, and perform hands-on tasks in all weather conditions.
Comfortable with standing, walking, sitting, climbing, kneeling, and exposure to site conditions, with PPE provided.
