Position Summary
Responsible for managing procurement, storage, and timely delivery of critical spare parts.
Maintain accurate inventory levels, build strong vendor relationships, manage procurement processes.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards and analyze equipment failures for forecast needs.
Other responsibilities include PO generation, pricing, parts delivery, shop organization, stock levels, expense reporting, and other assigned duties.
Essential Functions
Monitor and control inventory levels for critical spare parts, ensuring sufficient stock to prevent operational disruptions.
Interface with OEMs and suppliers to obtain technical documentation, bulletins, and spare parts recommendations.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions within CMMS system.
Participate in internal and external audits of the maintenance system.
Send out critical spare parts for warranty or repairs.
Facilitate setting up new vendors in MSSv.
Work with vendors on PO verification, pricing, lead times, delivery, and expediting goods as needed.
Follow through on purchase requisitions through PO generation.
Gather purchasing card information and collect receipts for expense reporting.
Generate purchase requisitions as needed by ME and Facility department.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements
High School Diploma or GED is required.
1-2 years of related experience (knowledge of equipment, ordering parts, inventory management, and TPM activities).
Strong understanding of industrial equipment, maintenance, and relevant technical documentation.
Must be able to use a computer and Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
Experience with a CMMS and MSSv is a plus.
Effective communication to collaborate with various internal departments and external suppliers.
Meticulous attention to detail for managing complex inventory and technical data.
Physical work and ability to lift boxes and climb ladders.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS : While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, or hear. Stand, sit, and reach with both hands and arms. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 and 15 pounds. Exposure to moving mechanical parts. Noise level is moderate.
