Who we are looking for We are looking for CNC Machinists for our 1st and 2nd Shift. As a Machine Operator you would operate CNC (computer numerical controlled) machinery to fabricate parts. Machine Operators run production and non-production jobs, communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and management, follow established Quality Management Systems, and maintains a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
We are currently only hiring for 2nd Shift: 4pm-4:30am, 4 day work week, Monday-Thursday
What you will get to do
Safely load and operate vertical and horizontal machining centers (3, 4, and 5 axis machines)
Performs daily maintenance on equipment and cleans work area after each shift
Performs manual deburring operations as needed
Follows Process Routing Document. Performs inspection per Process Routing Document and legibly records results of inspection
Completes reports and other associated paperwork
Communicates with management, supervisor, operators, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
Follows all applicable Quality Management System procedures, work instructions, and forms
Safeguards company, customer, and supplier property (electronic, intellectual, and physical)
What you bring to the team
Must have 1-3 years of experience with Vertical/Horizontal CNC Milling
High school diploma or GED is required
Must have experience reading blueprints and using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
Proficient with machining operations like, drilling, milling and tapping
Familiar with vertical and horizontal machines
Demonstrates inspection competence.
Demonstrates basic mathematical skills
Has both mechanical and technical capacity
Fluency in written and spoken English is required
