Annual Salary Range:

$46,700 – $87,000

Sign On Bonus:

$5,000

Job Responsibilities

Perform various plant maintenance functions to maintain the general operation of the facility.

Safely inspect, monitor, and maintain plant systems and equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, chillers, reactor tanks, process heaters, and associated instrumentation.

Troubleshoot issues in partnership with production operators and take corrective actions to deliver reliable operation.

Adhere to a 4‑10 schedule, work overtime as required, and be on 24/7 call one week every two months.

Follow all EHS policies and practices—including compliance with environmental regulations, quality systems, and safe work practices (e.g., confinement entry, lockout–tagout, hot work, line breaks).

Demonstrate commitment to EHS matters through safety observations, hazard reduction, hazard recognition, and safe work permit execution.

Complete preventive maintenance inspections, generate work orders for repair, and track PM/work‑order execution.

Repair, rebuild, or replace valves, pumps, vacuum pumps, condensers, chillers, refrigeration, and other process equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair process and equipment issues using a methodical approach.

Install new equipment and support capital‑project activities.

Participate in 5S, root‑cause problem solving, and continuous‑improvement activities.

Follow written instructions and standard operating procedures with minimal supervision.

Operate forklift, scissor lift, and other material‑handling equipment.

Use hand and power tools, slings, and rigging equipment safely.

Maintain equipment, report issues to management, and document all activities in the work‑order system.

Context and Environment

Work in an OSHA Process‑Safety‑Management facility with hazardous chemicals; follow all PPE requirements.

Work independently and collaborate across departments to ensure product quality.

Work in a fast‑paced production environment that demands safety, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Use a computer for work‑order processing and training.

Maintain a high‑performing, communicative team culture.

Wear a cell phone and proper PPE at all times.

Accountabilities

Practice safe work habits per OSHA and EPA guidelines.

Maintain good housekeeping practices.

Complete all mandatory company safety training.

Follow all Bostik safety procedures and requirements.

Report equipment issues to management and drive improvement actions.

Communicate progress through work‑order documentation.

Understand equipment failures and work to prevent repeat issues.

Respond promptly to production and customer needs demonstrating problem‑solving and learning.

Show willingness to learn complex electro‑mechanical systems.

Apply knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and industrial control systems.

Reduce repeat failures to lower costs and improve productivity.

Qualifications / Experience Required

High School Diploma or equivalency required.

Some technical training or college education preferred.

Industrial process maintenance experience highly valued.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience preferred.

Proficiency with hand and power tools, forklift, scissor lift, and slings/lifting equipment.

Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Basic computer skills.

Frequent work from ladders and elevations.

Physical requirements: sit (10%), walk (25%), stand (65%) daily; lift up to 50 lbs infrequently, up to 10 lbs frequently.
