Develop, implement and support test processes for the production of a variety of products including servers, switches and storage devices Develop techniques to troubleshoot failing systems quickly and efficiently Create work instructions and update online documentation for testing, troubleshooting, and repairing all CCBU products assembled at QMN Train production technicians to test, troubleshoot and repair CCBU products manufactured at QMN, managing several test projects simultaneously Drive test process efficiency improvements, reducing Time-to-Fail and overall test time while maintaining test integrity and product quality Support the launch of new products at QMN; work with end customers, corporate R&D, Test Development, and Manufacturing teams to analyze test data, troubleshoot, identify defects, verify fixes, and document test results Communicate product readiness, level of quality, and results to the project team Perform engineering failure analysis on product issues identified in field Set up/maintain the test servers and network in conjunction with IT group Create basic test files as necessary (e.g., cable files and hardware lists) Maintain excellent written and oral communication skills Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automated test processes to ensure reliability and quality of products Perform results analysis, root cause identification, and reporting Analyze failure reports and recommend improvements to product reliability, quality assurance processes, and procedures Work independently and within engineering practices to maintain, modify, and enhance existing quality methods Make sound technical decisions and complete tasks under general direction Identify problems, seek assistance when needed, and demonstrate initiative Develop approaches to solutions with minimal direction Provide solutions for a wide range of difficult problems Ensure a common test tool set is developed for use in manufacturing and service Provide leadership for all tests and diagnostics used in product engineering, manufacturing, RMA, and supplier quality Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, or 2 years of experience in software development Demonstrable skills to discuss technical aspects of project experience Proven track record of high productivity in test programming and debugging Preferred Requirements

Experience with Python scripting and Linux shell scripts to test computer hardware and verify configurations Familiarity with server architecture including hardware, firmware and drivers Experience with network technologies and protocols (switches, routers) Familiarity with PXE boot process, Automated Test Network, and OS download Understanding of hardware product development lifecycle, software development methodologies, change management, release management, configuration management Experience with client/server environments Other Skills and Abilities

Ability to build internal and external cross-functional relationships Project management skills Proven knowledge and application of engineering concepts Understanding of software systems and processes for delivering products Experience in testing methodologies, test plan design, test case design, test execution, data collection, root cause analysis and reporting Strong written, verbal and presentation skills Strong attention to process, detail and follow-through Strong problem solving and analytical skills Ability to multi-task across problem domains Ability to work independently and with a team Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (10%) Physical Demands

Able to bend and stoop while troubleshooting servers in racks Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods Able to lift 25 lb servers in and out of racks Able to work in a noisy environment under a wide range of temperatures
