Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance service and general vehicle repairs.
Diagnose vehicle mechanical problems and make effective repairs.
Work independently with knowledge of hydraulic and air brakes, air conditioning, gas and diesel engines, drive trains, and electrical systems.
Provide own hand tools and maintain safety compliance.
Qualifications
A minimum of 3 years previous mechanic experience in a vehicle repair shop.
High level of technical knowledge in vehicle systems: power plant, transmission, drive train, brakes, electrical, and air conditioning.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose vehicle mechanical problems and make effective repairs.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function efficiently with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license required.
