Overview
VCA Ocean County Animal Hospital Group is a 3-location, 13-doctor hospital group seeking dedicated, enthusiastic Certified Veterinary Technicians to join our technician team full time. This position may support our Fischer and Ocean County locations. Our hospitals are AAHA accredited and provide high quality care with digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house lab, access to boarded specialists, cautery, laparoscopic services, therapeutic cold laser, and exotics medical and surgical treatment. Responsibilities
Support Technician and Doctor teams by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for clients and patients Perform physical examinations and patient assessment Monitor anesthesia Assist in surgical preparation and procedures Medicine administration and dentistry Radiology and laboratory work Venipuncture and catheter placement Pharmacy and patient recovery care Provide compassionate care to hospitalized animals Qualifications
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), or Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to high standards of patient care and client service Compensation & Benefits
