is seeking a

Sr. Associate Design Engineer

who is eager to grow with us! This role is part of the

Design Engineering team

and focuses on

Medium/High Voltage connectors

and fiber optic products/accessories. The engineer will lead and participate in

new product development

for distribution, substation, transmission, and communication market products, and oversee the

commercialization process

from idea to product launch. Key Responsibilities

Manage New Product Development projects for Medium/High Voltage and Communications market connectors. Utilize 3D modeling software to design products and components. Input and track parts required for design; generate a Bill of Materials (BOM) with cost estimates. Collaborate with marketing to incorporate customer feedback into product development. Create and evaluate new product design concepts following ANSI, IEC, IEEE, and Telcordia standards. Conduct manufacturability reviews. Coordinate experiments to test and verify product designs. Monitor progress and action items for ongoing projects. Prepare and present capital expenditure requests to management. Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for product improvements. Attend seminars and conferences to stay updated on connector technology. Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of engineering experience in part/product design. Experience with FEA, Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D modeling tools, and rapid prototyping. Knowledge of testing and product development processes. Understanding of DFMA principles. Strong mechanical design skills, including materials strength. Hands-on experience with tools and lab equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in injection molded part and tool design is a plus. Core Competencies
