The Appliance and Consumer Electronics Technician plays a vital role, performing restoration, installation, and pickup of various electronics and appliances. Primary Responsibilities Include: On-site evaluation of damaged electronics from insurance claims involving fire, water, or lightning damage. Inventory management, removal, and transportation of electronics and appliances from customer locations. Disassembly, evaluation, cleaning, servicing, and repair of electronics. Testing, restoring, and reassembling electronics to pre-damage condition. Requirements Include: Excellent customer service skills for interactions in customers' homes. High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or technical training is a plus. Valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to safely operate company vehicles. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment. Professional appearance and demeanor. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check. Additional Responsibilities: Report to work as scheduled. Maintain professional appearance and conduct. Inspect own work for quality and completeness. Participate in staff meetings. Use and maintain tools and materials per manufacturer instructions. Document all job activities thoroughly and legibly. Perform all essential service technician functions.
