By improving warehouse operations, optimizing transportation routes, and refining inventory management practices, the team plays a critical role in streamlining processes. Collaborating with other departments to align strategies, the Supply Chain team ensures that Tropicana meets customer demands while maintaining a high standard of performance and cost-effectiveness. Through their efforts, they contribute to both short-term achievements and long-term growth. Your Next Pour: The Opportunity We are looking to add an Instrumentation Supervisor to our Electrical & Instrumentation team. This role will be responsible for utilizing visual factory concepts to maximize asset utilization and plant performance and ensuring proper utilization of Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include: Provide the tools, training, coaching and troubleshooting support for front line employees and coordinate with external technical support when necessary to meet business needs Work with EI&A Manager, Automation Supervisor, and Customers to prioritize work tasks for the Instrumentation Techs Deploy strategies in reliability fundamentals that develop front line team competencies and improve effectiveness and drive a planning and scheduling culture Monitor development and performance of Instrumentation front line employees to drive improvements in decision making and deliver results Administer policies and procedures and ensure all safety rules, procedure, policies and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are followed Work with Manager, Automation Supervisor, and Front line team on industrial control system improvements/obsolescence retrofit tasks Works proactively with production to schedule maintenance activities and resolve problems This role requires regular and predictable attendance at the work site and on the plant floor This role requires lifting up to 40 lbs. occasionally This role requires occasional work in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, wind, and rain This role requires occasional off-shift and weekend work The Perfect Blend: Experience
Minimum of 3 years' experience in maintaining instrumentation in an industrial manufacture environment A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience preferred Lean Six Sigma and TPM experience preferred Demonstrated technical experience in instrumentation system maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of utilities and/or production equipment Able to troubleshoot on AB PLC’s & VFD’s Understand operating principles of instruments, control loops (PID), and other analog devices Understand servo motor control and associated software Proficient in Microsoft Suite/Office applications Ability to give and receive constructive feedback Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment Strong leadership skills with the ability to get results through mentoring others Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team-building skills Must be authorized to work in the United States Foundational Ingredients: Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferably in Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience required Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future Must be located in Bradenton, FL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.
