Overview
Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA - $3,000 Sign-On Bonus (to be paid throughout the first year of employment). Full-time position for LIFE Lawrence County located in New Castle, PA. Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania, including LIFE (Living Independence for the Elderly), skilled nursing, home health, personal care, adoption & foster care, assisted living, adult day services, memory care, hospice, palliative care, residential living, affordable housing, home safety monitoring, and Meals on Wheels. Rehabilitation services aim to restore mobility and function and support transitions from illness to wellness at home and in the community. The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant COTA provides quality occupational therapy services including direct care and treatment under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in an interdisciplinary environment at Lutheran SeniorLife facilities/agencies including, as assigned, skilled nursing facilities, LIFE programs, home health and/or outpatient clinics. Responsibilities
Provide quality occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist in appropriate settings. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support residents, participants, and patients in achieving optimal independence. Deliver direct care and treatment plans that align with established goals and documentation requirements. Contribute to program effectiveness through team-based care and ongoing communication with supervisors and colleagues. Qualifications
Associate\'s degree (A.A.) from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program. Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred. Working knowledge of computer software required for documentation and communication. Maintains current PA License as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, including meeting continuing education requirements. Benefits
