Base pay range
$124,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurology Nurse Practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for diagnosing and managing patients with neurological conditions, collaborating with physicians, and educating patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive neurological assessments and evaluations of patients Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various neurological disorders, including but not limited to strokes, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, and dementia Perform patient examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and initiate appropriate therapeutic interventions Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and providing ongoing management for chronic neurological conditions Provide education to patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive health practices Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including neurologists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated and integrated care Maintain accurate and timely patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and follow-up care in compliance with regulatory standards Participate in clinical research and keep current with advancements in neurology and nursing practice Adhere to all health and safety regulations and protocols, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing with a specialization in Neurology or relevant field Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and state licensure to practice as a Nurse Practitioner Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
