Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Coverage Type:
Outpatient only (No call)
Shift:
Standard day shift, M-F 8am-5pm
Job Duties
Provide
full-scope outpatient midwifery care , including comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services.
Independently manage patient care while collaborating with OB/GYNs, RNs, LCSWs, lactation consultants, childbirth educators, and other specialists.
Offer expertise and leadership within the Labor & Delivery team as needed.
Participate in
quality improvement initiatives
and clinical training sessions.
Attend
skills drills and emergency response training
for high-acuity/low-frequency events.
Utilize
Athena EMR
for outpatient documentation.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum 2 years managing intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting preferred.
Licensure:
Active
Texas RN and APRN license
required (not willing to license).
Certification:
Active
AMCB certification
BLS certification
(by start date)
Additional certifications preferred:
Obstetric Ultrasound
Advanced Fetal Monitoring
Lactation Consultation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
