Radiology Tech- Mammography at Trinity Health (MercyOne Siouxland Medical Center). Employment Type: Full time. Shift: Rotating shift. Description

As a Radiology Tech- Mammography at MercyOne, you will perform radiographic procedures at a level not requiring constant guidance or assistance, and apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. You will assume responsibility for particular areas of specialization as assigned. Performs mammography procedures including needle localizations, etc. Adheres to MQSA guidelines and maintains the mammography MQSA program responsibilities, including required educational credits. Takes part in annual FDA/State of Iowa Bureau of Radiological Health inspections. Performs all routine radiographic procedures and views according to department procedures. Performs and/or assists with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures. Prepares and/or administers contrast media (oral, IV, rectally, etc.) per department and Radiologist policies. Schedule

Full Time Days, Rotating Rotating shifts (6a-2:30p, 7a-3:30p, or 8a-4:30p) and every 3rd weekend 6a-2:30p General Requirements

Must be ARRT registered in Radiology and registered by the state of Iowa. Must be Mammography registered within the first year of position. Prefer one year of experience in hospital setting. Effective communication with all members of the health care team. Ability to perform a variety of duties with frequent change. BLS certified. Education

Completion of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
