Job Description Individuals in this role are responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The Nurse Aide must demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care based on the patient's age and developmental stage. They should understand growth and development principles and assist licensed nurses in delivering technical and environmental patient care activities delegated by licensed staff. Responsibilities include activities of daily living, elimination, infection control, body mechanics, safety, and emergency care, adhering to Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act regulations. This is a 13-week assignment.
