Performs general office, sterilization and chairside duties in support of dental clinic and operatory functions. Responsibilities

Performs general office, sterilization and chairside duties in support of dental clinic and operatory functions. Minimum Education

Currently enrolled in dental assisting program or has successfully completed a dental assisting program CDA certification preferred Current radiology certificate with Ohio Dental Board Minimum Work Experience

Chairside experience Experience scheduling appointments and collecting patient data Experience with equipment maintenance and inventory and ordering of supplies Experience developing digital x-rays and inputting them into computer Experience with dental software, Dentrix preferred Required Skills and Knowledge

Excellent oral communication skills with ability to interact professionally and compassionately with patients and co-workers Knowledge of dental terminology and office practice and procedures Basic computer skills Experience entering patient data, appointments and treatment plans in computer Population Specific Competency: ability to effectively interact with populations of patients/customers with an understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity Hours and Employment Type

8am-5pm Monday-Thursday, 8am-2pm Friday. Full Time, 40-hour week. Akron Campus Dental Clinic. Salary and Benefits

$21.54/hr - $25.86/hr. The salary range on this job posting is base salary exclusive of bonuses or differentials. Pay is determined based on factors such as experience and location.
