Binghamton University’s Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences, Division of Speech and Language Pathology, invites applicants for Clinical Instructor in the developing Division of Speech-Language Pathology. The department currently has five twelve-month position openings. Successful candidates will be creative and collaborative, responsible for providing therapy with community partners, supervising students in clinical settings, and engaging in scholarship or research. Positions may provide services in a preschool setting, a school setting, a nonprofit, or a senior care center (skilled nursing and long-term care). There may be opportunities to teach graduate and undergraduate courses. Responsibilities

Provide therapy with community partners and supervise students in clinical settings. Engage in scholarship or research related to Speech-Language Pathology. Contribute to teaching at graduate and/or undergraduate levels (opportunities may exist). Deliver services in one of the following settings: preschool, school, nonprofit, or senior care center. Qualifications

Master’s or Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or Communicative Sciences and Disorders. License to practice Speech-Language Pathology in New York by November 1, 2025. Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (CCC-SLP). Interest in developing clinical training programs. Preferred Qualifications

4 or more years of experience in the current setting or area of specialization. Clinical supervision experience. Experience with teaching and/or presenting professionally (in-service, research, or other). Experience providing therapy to pre-school children, working in the school setting, or a medical setting.
