Slot Technician role at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, NY. Pay range: $31.14 - $34.60. Position Summary: The Slot Technician monitors the performance of electronic gaming devices, ensures slot machines are operable in good repair, and adheres to approved procedures in the slot areas. Serves as a first level ambassador for guests on gaming devices, protects assets by following company policies and regulatory compliance, and delivers World Class Service with Old-World Hospitality and Charm. Responsibilities
Provide guest service with energy and professionalism, delivering exciting, world-class service Know and deliver the company core values Maintain electronic components, systems, and peripherals of gaming machines Repair and modify components and electrical systems of gaming machines and kiosks Configure slot and video machines to meet manufacturer and regulatory specifications Remove, move, install, and/or upgrade slot machines Maintain an inventory of parts for slot machines Monitor and track slot machine malfunctions, causes, repairs, and parts involved Track and record test money usage and testing results Notify shift supervisor of irregularities in customer play Maintain a clean and safe environment Support and demonstrate superior customer service per department and company standards Handle customer concerns and requests effectively Maintain confidentiality of company information Act in the capacity of other positions as needed Perform duties in a safe and responsible manner; perform other duties as assigned Working Conditions and Abilities
Must be able to sit/stand/walk for long periods Must be able to use an in-ear radio communication device Work in a fast-paced casino environment with low lighting and noise Ability to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends Physical mobility to move around all work areas Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 75 lbs Ability to crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and balance in varied work areas Clean and sanitize all gaming equipment on the Slot floor Provide a clean gaming area for guests Qualifications
The Slot Technician must be at least 18 years old. Professional, able to handle high stress. Flexible with different schedules. The role spends most time on the casino floor and may involve crowds, noise, and smoke. Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum two years of experience as a Slot Technician/Bench Technician with A+ Certification preferred. Strong computer skills and proficiency with word processors and spreadsheets. Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, and related communications. Compliance Responsibilities
