Position Summary
Manager of Benefits & Wellness at RealTruck, Inc., responsible for strategically managing and administering all U.S. employee benefits programs, including 401(k) retirement plans, leave of absence case management, proactive health and wellness programs, and health, life and disability insurance.
Core Functions
Strategically lead benefits for multiple U.S. locations, ensuring cost control and competitiveness.
Partner with brokers and vendors to administer all employee benefit plans (health, dental, vision, 401(k), disability).
Research, resolve, and communicate non‑routine benefits issues; serve as key contact for plan questions and complex claims.
Oversee vendor selection, enrollment, renewal, and delivery of benefits.
Provide guidance on benefits within payroll and HRIS systems, and support upgrades, integrations and testing.
Review and process benefit billings, ensuring accuracy and resolving vendor/invoicing issues.
Conduct new‑employee orientation related to benefits and communicate benefit education topics to employees.
Manage company relocation and educational reimbursement programs, U.S. fleet program, and global mobility tactics.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in benefits or total rewards administration, including 2+ years of team leadership.
Experience working with brokers and benefit carriers.
Knowledge of health plans such as BCBS, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, or Kaiser Permanente.
Skills and Abilities
In‑depth knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, Section 125, FMLA, ADA, and other benefits laws.
Proficiency with benefit platforms (UKG, Workday, ADP, or equivalent HRIS).
Advanced Excel skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required.
