Position Summary: Collaborates with research staff and other stakeholders to drive clinical trial recruitment, while supporting study specific training needs. Acts as a strategic partner to both external and internal stakeholders to optimize the site experience and performance. . Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities As Assigned: 1. Assists with development of clinical research policies and procedures. 2. Acts as CRC on all studies to ensure adequate coverage. 3. Attends all Site Initiation Visits and Investigator Meetings when available. 4. Available for all Interim Monitoring Visits and Close Out Visits, as needed. 5. Works with research sites to develop study-specific action plans to accelerate patient recruitment. 6. Assists with determining new study feasibility. 7. Creates source documents, forms or other tools needed for the team. 8. Assists in recruitment and new hire onboarding, staff performance management and leads new hire training and staff education. 9. Supports site staff with CERNER or SignalPath questions. 10. Participates in or leads system-level study and therapeutic area research meetings. 11. Establishes and maintains positive relationships and communicates departmental policies, procedures, practices, and general information to internal and external customers. 12. Participates in or leads team-building initiatives and promotes a team environment. 13. Local travel required – approximately 75%. “Floats” between research sites to assist with resource needs. 14. All other duties as assigned. !*!
Qualifications: Required: Ten years of clinical research coordinator experience Two years of staff training experience Clinical Research Certification with SOCRA or ACRP within 12 months of hire Clinical Trial experience in two or more therapeutic areas Preferred: Fifteen years of clinical research coordinator experience Two years of supervisory experience Clinical Research Certification with SOCRA or ACRP Clinical Trial experience in four or more therapeutic areas
