Job Description Rusty Wallace Ford is seeking an Experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to join our high-performing service department. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Ford systems, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results. You’ll be trusted with complex repair and diagnostic work across a wide range of Ford vehicles, and you’ll have the opportunity to work in a clean, well-equipped facility with a supportive team.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on Ford vehicles using OEM tools and software

Execute maintenance, repairs, and warranty work per Ford Motor Company specifications

Diagnose drivability, electrical, and mechanical issues accurately and efficiently

Provide detailed documentation of all work performed on repair orders

Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs, estimates, and timelines

Complete required Ford STARS training and certifications to maintain current status

Mentor junior technicians when needed and promote a culture of learning within the shop

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

Qualifications

Must be Ford Certified

Minimum 3 years of professional Ford dealership or equivalent OEM experience

Proficient with Ford diagnostic tools such as IDS, FDRS, and Service Bay

Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical systems

Strong attention to detail, efficiency, and quality control

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Strong commitment to safety, precision, and customer satisfaction
