Overview
Water Depot Repair Technician at Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. Represents the company by providing diagnostic aid, repair estimates and a safe and quality repair of company products. Board level troubleshooting and repair of simple or complex electrical/mechanical devices to assure proper operation require good attention to detail and a sense of urgency to get repaired equipment back to the customer. Responsibilities
Analyze, troubleshoot and repair electronic and electromechanical problems for a broad product line. This is generally depot style repair of products, with occasional on-site domestic support (less than 1% of the time). Provide service training to ISCO service individuals, customer’s domestic representatives and export dealers at the factory office. Expedite repair of instruments by preparing diagnostic quotations or estimates. Comply with engineering change requests by installing modifications on instrumentation returned for repair. May handle customer communication regarding instruments currently at the factory for repair to describe findings or request additional information to better understand failure. May support sales efforts by handling overflow application issue phone calls when necessary. Assist in achieving company goals by performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to test, troubleshoot and repair electronic instrumentation, typically with an Associate Degree in Electronics Technology and two or more years of experience in a similar position. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues in a professional manner. Company Standards
