UPMC . The purpose of this job is to provide clinical treatment services to children and families in an outpatient setting, supporting the CYF team under Western Behavioral Health at Mon Yough. The incumbent will primarily work in Westmoreland County, with clients also in Allegheny, Washington, and Fayette Counties. Some travel is required. Work will be Monday through Friday with occasional evenings as needed. Shift times can vary depending on need. The incumbent will be joining a supportive team that enjoys a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities
Participate in program activities to ensure quality and performance.
Complete clinical documentation on the same day of service and provide necessary information for service authorization.
Periodically review cases and discuss significant clinical changes with the team.
Assess and update patient needs and incorporate them into treatment plans.
Conduct new patient assessments under supervision and make clinical decisions regarding treatment and referrals.
Provide individual and group therapy, engage families, and educate patients on recovery.
Record all assessments, treatment sessions, and other patient-related work.
Discuss additional service needs with the clinical team and refer patients to appropriate resources.
Participate in regular meetings to review and update treatment plans and monitor progress.
Maintain daily records of clinical productivity.
Create comprehensive treatment plans addressing a variety of patient needs.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required (completed as defined in the practicing state’s code).
One year of clinical experience preferred.
Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process, and application of current DSM in practice preferred.
Experience diagnosing and treating behavioral and psychiatric conditions preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, & Clearances
Must pass the examination required by 49.11 relating to licensure examination and sign a license agreement.
Actively working to obtain the Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Family Marriage Therapist (LMFT) within 30 months of hire.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Comprehensive Crisis Management (CCMC)
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
