Overview: Certified Aide Assistants (CNA) Home Health Aide (HHA) / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) assignments may include: Mouth care and denture care. Grooming — shampoo, dry and comb hair, shave, ordinary nail care. Bathing — bed bath, tub bath, shower. Bathroom privileges — bedpan, commode, toilet. Transferring — bed to chair, to wheelchair. Meals — prepare, serve, and feed (when applicable) a well-balanced diet. Dressing and undressing activities. Self-administered medications — remind clients to take medications only. Ambulation activities. Take vital signs when advised (T.P.R. & B.P.). Keep daily records on all cases and report any incidents or changes to the Supervisor. Perform household tasks essential to the client’s health needs as it relates directly to the client. Requirements
