You Will
Provide primary, family evidence-based care inclusive of accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, management of health problems, health counseling, and disposition planning.
Perform administrative duties including opening/closing the clinic, inventory, patient follow up, verifying insurance, collecting payment, and maintaining a clean environment.
Manage patient appointments and perform routing examinations to ensure positive patient health outcomes.
Engage patients in healthy lifestyle choices, complete diagnostic tests, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to maintain a comprehensive care plan.
Encourage patients to become active participants in their own healthcare and well-being through services such as health screenings, behavioral health and wellness, and chronic condition management.
Required Qualifications
Evidence-based holistic care, including education and treatment for pregnancy prevention, sexually transmitted infection prevention, and safer sex practices.
Order and administer immunizations and injections (e.g., COVID‑19, influenza, TB, Depo) and provide evidence-based vaccine counseling and education.
Minimum two years of medically relevant experience or equivalent.
Complete the DOT certification exam within 30 days of employment.
Depending on the market, proficiency in speaking and writing in additional languages (including Spanish) is required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including CPR and AED operation.
Pass a FIT test and wear the respirator mask when required by protocol.
Education
Master’s Degree in Family Nurse Practitioner program with current National Board Certification and state license to practice as an Advanced Practice Nurse.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior student precepting rotation with MinuteClinic is preferred for those with less than one year of licensed practice.
Pay Range Base hourly rate or full‑time salary: $37.66 – $81.11. The actual offered salary depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
