Major Duties & Responsibilities
Welcome all customers and set expectations.
Custom‑fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements, accurately adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring the finished product meets standards and customer needs.
Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately despite time pressure, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and tool proficiency.
Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded.
Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
Take pride in store appearance and help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and eager to learn, improve and achieve results.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications
High School graduate or equivalent.
Valid state licensure.
Optical dispensing experience.
Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
Embrace new technology and change.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous customer service and retail experience.
Pay Range: $28.66 - $38.27
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also receive a competitive bonus and/or commission plan that complements a first‑class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
