RN - Operating Room - FT - Days - $20K Sign on Bonus - MHM. Location: Miramar, Florida. Provides direct patient care in an area designated as a specialty unit in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. Requires 1 year in Operating Room Exp Responsibilities

Effectively delegates patient care to ancillary personnel. May precept student nurses and new hires. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and spiritual and, or psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs of the patient and, or family and provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate. Education and Certification Requirements

Accredited Program: Nursing (Required) BLS Cert American Heart_max ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association (AMERICAN HEART) Registered Nurse License (RN LICENSE) - State of Florida (FL) Experience

One (1) year of nursing experience required. Additional Requirements and Credentials

Oncology credentials: ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for RNs administering chemotherapy; APHON Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider card within 12 months for pediatric oncologic care. ACLS required for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op and Specialty Procedural areas. PALS required for Pediatric areas (30 days post hire if coming from non-pediatric background). NRP required for NICU (30 days post hire if coming from non-NICU background). Fetal Monitoring Certification (through National Credential Center or AWOHNN) for L&D RNs prior to completing job orientation. RN Fellowship Program requires one year of independent RN practice; ACLS and BLS for RN Fellowship specialties. Newly licensed RNs have six months to obtain ACLS and/or PALS.
