Maintenance Technician
Location: Geneva, IL | Fully Integrated Plant
Pay:
$24.77 – $32.32/hr + shift differential + incentive pay Shifts Available: 2nd: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM 3rd: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM What We Offer Health, dental, and vision insurance 401k with company match + HSA Paid vacation + 13 paid holidays Quarterly bonus opportunity Fitness reimbursement & employee battery program PPE and uniforms provided Recognition programs Referral program Career growth and advancement opportunities Job Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of manufacturing equipment and plant systems Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and utility issues Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities Adjust and install machinery, power, controls, and utilities Use hand tools and machine shop equipment (lathe, milling machine, drill press, welder, etc.) Create and document work orders, track parts, and log maintenance data Maintain a safe work environment and follow all PPE requirements Qualifications 2+ years maintenance mechanic experience (manufacturing preferred) Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems Technical training in mechanical/electrical systems; PLC knowledge preferred Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and production specs Strong problem-solving and data entry skills Must supply own tools High school diploma or equivalent required U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (sponsorship not available) Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, and work overtime/weekends as needed About The Plant The Geneva, IL plant has been operating since 1960 and employs more than 265 people. As a fully integrated facility, we manufacture and decorate batteries for the automotive and marine industries.
