$95,000 – $120,000 annually (plus bonus, travel support and relocation stipends)

The Opportunity We’re seeking a Control Systems Project Engineer to take ownership of quality control and commissioning for our Mission Critical data center portfolio. In this hands‑on, field‑facing role, you’ll oversee quality performance, coordinate inspections, and ensure systems meet Thermo and client standards from design through turnover. You’ll collaborate across engineering, BIM, safety, and commissioning teams—making this a highly visible role for someone who thrives on structure, accountability, and precision.

What You’ll Do
Develop, implement, and manage Project Quality Control Plans (QCPs) aligned with Thermo’s QMS and client standards.
Serve as the on‑site QC representative, leading inspections, resolving non‑conformances, and delivering root‑cause analyses.
Partner with BIM and commissioning teams to ensure installations match drawings, models, and approved submittals.
Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and commissioning activities (Levels 1–3).
Verify materials, oversee as‑built deliverables, and maintain all QC documentation and performance reports.
Support start‑up and field troubleshooting for control systems, instrumentation, and PLC/HMI applications.
Mentor junior engineers and technicians on quality standards and continuous improvement.
What You Bring
Education:
B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Controls Engineering—or equivalent technical experience.
Experience:
4+ years in control systems engineering, including 2+ years in quality oversight or commissioning roles.
Technical Skills:
Proven QCP management, FAT/commissioning, PLC & HMI troubleshooting, and familiarity with BIM coordination.
Tools:
ACC Build (or similar QC platform), Microsoft Office Suite.
Soft Skills:
Decisive, detail‑oriented, and excellent communicator with a collaborative approach.
Other:
Valid driver’s license; eligible to work in the U.S.; fit for duty at all times.
