Position Electronics Technician – Aerospace Production

Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

PCB Assembly and Rework

– Perform troubleshooting of board level issues, including board rework, part removal, and part replacement.

Wiring & Integration

– Assist in the assembly and installation of electrical components, including connectors, circuit boards, and avionics systems.

Blueprint & Schematic Interpretation

– Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings to ensure accurate builds.

Testing & Troubleshooting

– Perform troubleshooting of printed circuit boards to identify faulty components or board level faults using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, and function generators.

Quality Control & Compliance

– Ensure all work meets industry and company quality standards, adhering to safety and aerospace regulations.

Collaboration

– Work closely with engineers and other technicians to support system integration and problem‑solving efforts.

Experience Required

3+ years of experience in electrical troubleshooting, PCB rework, or related field.

Proficiency in crimping, soldering, and connector assembly.

Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Strong understanding of cable routing, strain relief, and aerospace/automotive wiring standards.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience working in aerospace, aviation, or high‑tech manufacturing.

IPC‑A‑600/610 certification with J‑STD‑001 or similar (preferred but not required).

Familiarity with electrical testing equipment (multimeters, continuity testers, oscilloscopes).

Ability to adapt and troubleshoot in a dynamic R&D environment.
