Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety‑conscious Manufacturing‑Industrial Electrician to join our operations team. This role is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing or industrial setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, control systems, and equipment in accordance with local and national electrical codes.

Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing devices and schematics.

Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems and machinery to minimize downtime.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.

Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and other automation systems.

Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.

Collaborate with engineers, maintenance staff, and production teams to support operational goals.

Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on tasks.

Education

High school diploma or GED required.

Associate degree or technical diploma in Electrical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Certifications

Valid State Electrician License (Journeyman or Master, depending on state requirements).

OSHA 10 or 30 Certification preferred.

NFPA 70E Certification is a plus.

Certification in PLC programming or industrial automation is advantageous.

Experience

Minimum 10 years of experience as an industrial or manufacturing electrician.

Experience with 480V systems, motor controls, and industrial automation.

Skills And Competencies

Strong knowledge of electrical theory and industrial electrical systems.

Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and diagnostic equipment.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

Excellent problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary The salary range for this position is $45–$55 per hour. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job‑related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered. This salary will be subject to a geographic adjustment according to the city and state, if an authorization is granted to work outside of the location listed in this posting.
